How can I stop the notifications on facebook?
There used to be a way to stop getting notifications for certain things when it shows up on the left hand corner/top of your page. For the longest time I would only get notifications regarding my statuses. All of a sudden I'm now getting notifications for eeeeverything. I don't want them, and now I can't find any way to stop them. Is there a way to control them?

1. Log into Facebook
2. Click on "Account"
3. Choose "Account Settings"
4. Choose the "Notifications" tab
5. Turn off the notifications (uncheck the options) for everything you're not interested in

That's it!
