If I go to type something, lets say Facebook, as soon as I type "f" it searches and the cursor disappears from the text box and I have to click it again. Very annoying for someone who searches ALOT. I looked in the settings but couldn't see anything relative. This only started yesterday.
Thanks for your help Serge, that did the trick.

Just go to goole search settings: https://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en
under google instant prediction, select "never show instant results" and save.
That should do the trick :-)

Try disabling Dynamic search and re-enabling it. (search for sth, click on that cog icon on the right >> seach settings >> Never use Dynamic search or sth like that)
