If you put # before a word, it's called a "hashtag". It groups your tweet with all the other tweets on that subject so that people can find them easily. For example, you might write
I ate mac and cheese tonight. #dinner Then "dinner" would become a clickable link, and if you followed it it would show you everyone else's tweets which contained #dinner as well. Ads |
