How do you delete a Facebook family member?

I tried to remove someone from my Facebook family today but after i saved the changes she was off my profile and out of my family when i tried to double check she was gone but when her names in my search bar it still says she's my sister... is there anything i can do or is it because it still says I'm in her family(with a blacked out link) that it still comes up that we're sisters?

If you removed her from your Facebook family, then she is not there anymore.
It probably takes some time to clear it, but it will be gone in no more than one day.
You can also try to refresh your page!

Here is the quickest way to delete people you have friended - in case you added a bunch of people you dont want to be friends with anymore.

First, go to your timeline and find your friends list module, and click the "See All" link.


That will get you to a page where you have all of your friends listed.

Now, hover over the NAME of the person you want to remove, and you will see this type of box pop up.
Click on Friends, and select Unfriend. Click on Subscribe, and select Unsubscribe (if you want to).
