What did retired people use to do before facebook games and GSN and internet surfing?

Same as a lot of human beings do now. Actually go out of the house sometimes. Visit real people. Go to live shows. Go to movies. Go to a bar. Or a restaurant. You would be surprised what you can do if can only manage to open that door.

What they still do when they're not on the internet.

Travel, visit friends relatives, go to the cinema, theatre, join clubs, societies, play golf, go swimming, sailing, tennis, read, do the garden, grow fruit/veg, etc, etc. The list is endless.

They met people in real life, speaking with real words, watching real nice landscapes and drinking real beers in bars (not beers you can have on your Phone) :-)

We (and im only 32) used to interact in the "real world" -ie socializing in pubs/clubs/outdoor raves... playing outdoors, and reading "books"...
