What to do when someone hacks facebook account?

Hey someone hacked my facebook account yesterday. They "broke up" with my girlfriend and they insulted my best friend. Is there maybe something I could do other than deleting my acocunt and changing my password? How did the hacker do it? Maybe that'll help me prevent the hacking next time. Thxx

If you used public wifi and went on facebook. thats your problem. He used a programmed to capture cookies running through the network, this is why i always warn people about public wi-fi. They was probably the guy in the corner looking bored on his laptop. but he doesn't have your password if this is the case, but to be safe change your Pass, dont let anyone know it, likely it could have been your friends =/
