Is there a way to add someone who blocked you on facebook?

My ex boyfriend who completely broke my heart blocked me on facebook a few months ago after we broke up.

Now i have an amazing new boyfriend, so i know its immature, but i want to find a way to add my ex just to show that he didnt toally break me.

Any way i can add him, even though he blocked me?

if it means that much, you could just make another account.
but that's probably too much work...
but he might be a little annoyed to see you requesting him after he broke up with you AND blocked you..
which is a tad harsh btw :x
