It doesn't have to do with facebook. It has to do with the browser you use. You use mozilla, don't you? That's what I use and I don't have to type my address. If you don't want this to happen, choose another browser. Internet explore doesn't have this characteristic.

I must mention that, when your email address appears in the box, your password doesn't. Which means that your fb account is safe. Also, this happens in all pages that require a username and a password, not only in facebook. This happens in all email sites (hotmail, yahoo), all networking sites (myspace, twitter) and sites of online shopping.

So you have nothing to worry. It's safe, unless you don't want people to see your email address (e.g. in public computers). In this case, you should clear the cookies every time you use the computer. Or you can just use another browser.

Hope this helps!! Smile)

Try this:- Go to "Tools" Scroll down to bottom click on "Internet Options"
When little box opens look for little box says Browsing history and delete.
Click on Delete and delete all your History and Saved passwords.
Warning before you do this MAKE SURE you have written down your passwords somewhere so you do not Forget them.
