How long does it take to see judge in jail for child support violation?

For contempt of court, a "no bond" until seeing the judge. How long does it take to see the judge and usually how long is someone jailed for this?> Does anyone know from experience or someone close to you? If so, please add your two cents, I feel almost hopeless about the situation and no one seems to know any answers, not even the jailers.

Why are there arrears? If there is a legitimate reason, such as unemployment, the obligor can still file for a reduction in them. Most Child Support obligors do not know there is free help from the state, by federal law, to obtain a modification. At the minimum, a motion should be filed to have any interest penalties set aside, which can double or triple the amount owed.
