I have heard songs by tyga, drake, and Nicki Minaj. And they all do it like for example tyga says. " get dragged.. Ru Paul." Or I'm fly.. Alladin." I just don't get why they all do it. And why its such a trend.

That's called "hashtag rap", it's like twitter when people say something then add #this to the end...it's supposed to be similar to punchlines. It's annoying.

It is their own form of rhyme and rhythm. Just like poets have sonnets and rhymes
so do these artists. I am not saying they all make sense but that is the reason they do it. For the most part it gets compared to something they are trying to point out. He is fly like Alladin. Alladin from the Disney movie Alladin fly's on a magic carpet and when he does he soars real high into the clouds and above buildings. So simply put he is saying he is awesome on an extreme level.

it makes them create lines which rhyme easier, when they say a random word they can relate it to something else
