Parents put pictures of me in a bikini on their facebooks?
I do not feel comfortable with them up but i dont know what to do. I'm 16 and I dont want their friends and my family seeing me in a bikini but my parents won't take the pictures down? Not to mention my boyfriend wants to add my parents on facebook but I can't let him because there's stupid embarrassing pictures of me on there? What should I do? or what can i do?

Of course they should take those pictures off. Just tell them that it's illegal to upload pictures without permission.

Awww, I hate it when they do that. Well, I am a guy and when they ever post embarrassing photos, I log into their account and delete it...They never find out haaha. If they do, I'd just be like "maybe facebook deleted it". Honestly, dont worry too much about it. I am sure you look fab in your bikini...at least your not naked ya know.
Anyways, Hope I helped!

Why won't they take them down? That's just weird....almost creepy.

Just keep asking them I guess, don't know what else to suggest.

They are pictures of you - you have every right to ask that they not be posted.
Besides any parent knows how freekin stupid it is to post pics of a teenaged girl on the internet.

Send them this link to drill common sense into their heads:

"While one of the fun things about the Internet is sharing photos and messages with friends, keep in mind that the Internet is also a public resource. Only post information you are comfortable with anyone seeing—including your parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, even potential employers. It’s not uncommon for companies to run an Internet search of job applicants before they offer them a position. Stories are increasing about people being “weeded out” from a job search due to compromising or ill-advised photos and information found on the Web. Even if you remove photos or information, they can still exist in archive caches or on another person’s computer. Once you post something, it truly is out of your hands."

Just think, thanks to them - who knows how many people have now stored your pic on their computer... and now can post your pic to gawd only knows what kind of porn website.
Idiocy at it's finest. Sorry but... fact is you're the one that's being smart, nobody else is.

(i'm not saying people shouldn't post pics online, I even hardly care what other people do... BUT the person in the pic should at least approve of the fact they're being splashed all over my screen - right? Smile
