How to remove a network on facebook?
I'm trying to delete a network i'm in on facebook, I go to account settings, into network and it says remove next to the network, yet when I click remove, nothing happens......? same with when I try to delete an old email under contact information. Both have the remove options right next to them, and I click on them, but nothing happens. Anyone have any idea about this? I'd rather not delete my whole facebook to start over.

Do you have a Facebook account?

Facebook has become a well-known social networking site these days that almost everyone you know has opened an account and kept in touch with friends, family, and co-workers online. You heard success stories from people who are reconnected with old friends, sweethearts, or relatives using this social networking tool. But you may also hear sad accounts of those who suffer personal and professional embarrassments due to ignorance and carelessness in using it. If you wish to keep your Facebook account to select people you prefer, you can remove your profile from showing up in Facebook search results.

1
Log in to your Facebook account.

2
Select "Privacy Settings" from your "Account" tab.

3
Click "Search" link from one of the options that showed up.

4
Look for the "Facebook Search Results" setting. You will see a drop-down combo box on the right.

5
Change the default setting "Everyone" to "Only Friends". This will remove your name and profile from showing up in searches from people who are not part of your network.

6
Log out from your account. Test if the new setting worked by typing your name in Facebook search box.
