Facebook notifications on blackberry?

I have a Blackberry Bold 9780. I will get a facebook notification, and it will show the FB notification icon on the tab for the drop down menu, and a star on the application but when i click on the drop down menu to check what the notification is, it doesnt show it. The notifications DO exist though, and are under my notifications in the application.
