Could a game request be a spam in Facebook? Could it be a virus attack in my notification?
I received a game request from a FB friend. However, when I asked the friend whether he has indeed sent the request, he did not answer me. Now I am wondering whether the game request is a spam. That means, nobody has actually sent request to me, it just appears in my notification. Is it possible?

Any request from anyone in a social network should automatically be suspect.
These 'requests' will notify (with a very convincing pop-up) that you need to update your flash player, or something you may normally use, to see the video (or play the game, etc.) and downloads a virus instead. Always get updates from reputable sites, using normal channels & connection URL's. |

Could be a virus, or could be a spam
Virus attacks through e-mail are pretty common these days..... My answer is to not open the e-mail until your friend gives you a yes about wanting a new game If you still want to open it... be my guest, but im wont be hold responsible for it there should be an e-mail scanner you should try and see if you can find and download it |

Yes this often happens. Maybe that requests has a virus or spyware attachments. Beware of that.
