How can I get a hold of a band about using songs I have written?

Yea question kind of explains it.... I mean I know about how every band has a myspace and stuff but the producers usually run those

If its a local act or something like that, you can contact them on their myspace/facebook/twitter/etc.
Otherwise if you are talking about a major artist, first thought is to forget about it, but if you were willing to do it. You would have to demo the track(s), and then you would have to go around to all the label trying to get someone to give a $100 tops for the song. And after all that work, you should have just released it as your own.
