How can i make it so people cant see me on facebook?

I used to have a Facebook account with nearly my whole high school on it. I made a new one because i wanted this one to be more private, with close non-judging friends only. I tried going to privacy settings and making it friends only can look me up, but I'm still getting friend requests. How can I stop this?

You can go to your privacy settings and chose where no one can send you requests. Othr than tht youre going to get requests, but u dnt have to accept them.

Did you go privacy settings and set all your activities like newly made friends, commenting your friends post, updating your status or stuff like that to friends only? Are you sure you changed it ALL into friends only? All I know I know that even you changed all the settings to friends only, people will still be able to see who you added as friend recently. Or maybe people saw your discription that would tell them what class were you in in what year and in what school and what's your interest and stuff. Hopefully my answer helped.

its not impossible
but a bit difficult
so what you have to do is
first of all
go to privacy settings
in the Control Your Default Privacy section click custom
in the pop up window
set These people or lists: section to specific people or list
add your frens to the list
and done
now no one can search you only you can search others
everytime you send a friend request add that person to the list
and you are done

You can't proactively block friend requests but if you get an unwanted friend request, click "ignore". Facebook will ask you "do you know this person outside of Facebook?" Say "no" and then that person will be blocked from sending you any more friend requests.
