is there away to get rid of urls? ?
when i go to type in a url a bunch of things a list of things will come up that begin with whatever URL im typing in like if im typing in twitter, twitpics will come up and have a whole list of twit pics and twitter will be at the bottom, is there anyway to refresh my URL's that way it clears everything out? does this even make sense? sorry its hard to explain.

it depends on which browser you are using but here are instruction for the 3 that are mostly used:


How to clear url history in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• To clear drop-down Address bar history, click "Delete history" and then click Yes.
• Click Close and then click OK.

How to clear url history in Internet Explorer 6.x:
• Go to Tools and select Internet Options.
• Open "General tab", click "Clear history".
• Click "OK".

How to clear url history in Firefox 3.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Options".
• Select "Privacy".
• In Private area click "Clear Now".
• In "Clear Private Data" window put the check mark for "Browsing history" and click "Clear Private Data Now".
• Click OK to erase Address bar history.

How to clear typed url history in Opera 9.x
• Open the Tools menu.
• Select Delete private data
• Click the "Details" button
• Select "Clear history of visited links".
• Click "Delete" button.

How to clear urls bar in Opera 8.x
• Go to "Edit" menu and select "Preferences".
• Select "Navigator" under the "Category" listing.
• Select "Clear History" in the "History" area.
• Click "OK" to clean visited sites history.

With respect to Navid i'm not sure thats what the asker

means......my take on what she means is Autocomplete.

Apologies if i am wrong ....Go to tools ..internet options

and click on content....then autocomplete ..settings and

uncheck web addresses and then click ok..in IE7.
