I have to write an essay about privacy, can I get a few ideas to help me get started?

As previously stated, I have to write an essay about if I think people should make more of an effort to keep some things private. I'm not asking for handout, so to speak, I was just wondering if I could get a few ideas to help me get started in the writing process. There are just so many angles to go on, I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Some things just have to remain private in life,
As long as it's some secret
Or anything not related to anyone you dont know
Your pictures for example on a website
should not be exposable and all out.
Because the whole world may be seeing it

One of the things you might include is how social networking sites are being used as sources of information for scammers.

I just heard of the "Grandparents Scam". The one I heard was a grandmother got a call from her grandson who was out of the country. He said he was arrested and needed money for fine after which he would be freed. She wired 3000 dollars and found out a day later it was a scam. Her grandson was never arrested. Scammers had seen on his Facebook page when and where he would be traveling, and they got the grandparents names from the same source.

There is also a website called pleaserobme.com that uses twitter data to tell people who will be away from home, where they are going, and for how long.
