how do you find someone you dont know much about?

im looking for my biological grandmother. i have some of her information, but i have no idea how to find her. any advice?

Well you could pinpoint the city she lives in and look through the phone listings then call away.
Ask any relatives for any information.
Try Facebook
Google search (you never know)
some key things that may help to know: DOB, place of birth, children, city, employer or type of employment. (like if she worked down by the docks you could always go down and ask around)
City hall: for records

If all else fails you could go on Maury for a DNA and/ or lie detector test.
