Please help facebook question someone made a fake account and is slandering me?

Okay i got a girlfriend and now someone made a fake facebook account and added my school mates and now is writing crap on their wall profanity and rumors about me. How do i figure out who it is and what should i do PLEASE HELP

Look for the profanatic messages on the "news feed" and then click the name of the user that sent the message. Now go to that profile and when you scroll down to the bottom, there should be a "report this person" or something similar to click on. If you can't find it, just press CTRL+F and type "report" and firefox or IE will find the link and you can click it. It usually takes a few days for them to process the submission, and it is currently free. Soon facebook will start charging money for reporting people.

First of all, report the fake account to Facebook. Then, put on your status that someone is slandering you and ask your friends to also report it. The more complains Facebook gets, the more they will look into it. I don't know if you can find out who it is since FB doesn't usually reveal email addresses, but having it on your status lets your real friends know what is going on. Good luck!
