Twitter privacy follow help?!?

Basically I followed someone on twitter who had their profile as private, they hadn't approved me yet. And now they changed their profile to not-private. Does this mean that they didn't accept me, or do your pending approvals reset if you change to not private? Thanks
Sorry I mean *does this mean that they declined me? or has the pending request simply reset as the privacy has gone?

Happy - No, they haven't accepted/followed me because I'm not following them, but just asked this so it doesn't seem stalker-ish if i follow them now (if they had declined the follow) THANKS

tbh I don't know. But I don't think it would be stalker-ish considering everyone follows a bunch of people, just like facebook many people are friends with people they don't even know and they even view there profile and stuff. I don't think it would be stalker-ish because almost everyone follows random people. Not saying the person you want to follow is random just giving an example.

go to following, and look at the people u followed, if he/she is in that list, yes he did approve u if not, then he/she declined!!!
