How do you read someone elses facebook messages?

Me and my boyfriend broke up and he was talking to some of his friends about it and how it was through facebook messages, and my teacher got on on the internet and pulled up the conversation through some program and read it out loud. it was so embarrassing! to prove that he didnt know our passwords he went on someone elses page. What is this program called?

WEll if your friends withe the people that your trying to read there messages ( wall posts, not emails) you just go to the profile and click Wall-to-wall , under one of the posts of the person you want to read and it will show them. Idk if that helps or not. :\ Sorry.
