How do I post HTML code on facebook without facebook rendering it?

I am trying to post some html code I made on facebook in a note. When I pasted the code and hit preview, I found that facebook rendered some of the font codes, images, etc, and generally screwed it up. How do I get facebook to leave the code the way it is?

instead of < and > use '& lt;' and '& gt;' (without the spaces)

You are risking getting your account suspended, I wouldn't do it if I were you.
