Is it possible to make someone unfollow you on twitter?
I have a few followers on twitter that I would prefer not follow me anymore. I don't mind following them, but is there a way to make it so they aren't following me? Besides making a new account, I mean.
Thanks in advance.
Also, would they recieve a notification of any kind regarding their unfollowing of me?

Block them.
If you block a user, he can't follow you.

You would have to block them (go to your followers list click the drop down menu beside there name and click block)
but i doubt you can follow someone who you have blocked
