Did you change your profile picture on Facebook to an atheist symbol during the recent atheist week?
and did you get unexpected comments from friends and relatives? People who know that I am an atheist, and have been from birth, said how upset they were that I declared it so openly.
There is one every year March/April time. Google it

I'm an atheist all the time. My religious friends have stop trying to rationalize their religions to me. I have showed them how their faith makes no logical sense a long time ago.

We have symbols? Why do they care so much anyway? It's hypocritical for people to say they are proud of their beliefs and then tell you you shouldn't declare your non-belief so openly.

In civilised countries no-one cares because atheism is the default position.

I wasn't aware that as an atheist I have a symbol, or a week. For that matter I don't have a facebook page either.

To do so sounds rather infantile.

No facebook. I am an Atheist every week, I don't need a week to celebrate it.
