What's a better internet browser than Firefox?

I'm sick of it. It won't let me see some photos on facebook, and it closes on me at the oddest times, it takes forever to load up when I click to open it, not to mention sometimes when it closes on me it won't let me reopen it again sometimes. I have Windows XP on an IBM Thinkpad laptop, so what's a good compatible internet browser for me?

That sounds like a virus's problem, not Firefox's. I have had no such problem with Firefox. I use the latent Firefox, version 3.5.

Very fast is Chrome, one alternative is Opera to, but is harder to find addons.
But this problem look like something other than explorer.Try antivirus, firewall, ports.

I don't think Firefox is your problem either. I can tell you what I would do. I would download, update, run Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and A-squared. Reset IE8, or uninstall IE7 if you use it and Firefox, download, run ccleaner and the reg-cleaner in ccleaner. Reinstall IE7 if you use it and Firefox 3.5.2. Install Flash Player and turn off System Restore and turn back on.
Opera is good and one called Iron which is like Chrome but does not send info back to Google. I actually think Iron is better...
