Should I delete my facebook before moving to a new town?

I feel like I spend too much time on it and don't spend enough time on myself and actually catching up with my friends and to be honest I've grown apart from most of my old friends. I will keep in touch with my close friends in other ways but do you think it would be a fresher way to start when moving out and on my own to just delete my facebook and live a fuller life or is it going to hinder my chances of meeting people and getting a social circle together in my new town?

The chance of ever making new friends on Facebook is pretty much impossible in my opinion. Great way to stay in touch but it is recreation and not even a remote form of what "being social" is truly about. Life can often be about balance.

Do things that interest you and truly make you happy. Good things will follow.
