Can the fater of my baby take me to court?

I got an abortion about a week ago with out telling the father. I just told him tonight and he said that he was going to take me to cout for it but I am trying to figure out what he could take me to court for? Can anyne tell m if this is possible?

No, he cannot take you to court over that. You don't have to tell the father beforehand about an abortion, even if you should've since that must have been terrible to find out his unborn child was terminated. But it was your body, so it was your choice and you are within your legal rights.

People can sue for anything. So,yes he can take you to court but chances of him 'winning' anything are slim. It's your body and was your baby. The father is probably furious that you killed his child without even telling him. He probably hopes to take you to court to publicly embarrass you in front of friends and family.He might get over this anger quickly or if he comes from a loving home he might carry a grudge against you for a long time. Remember it takes TWO people to make a baby. Not using protection is totally stupid on both your parts. Be prepared for him to plaster this info about you all over Facebook and everywhere else he can think of.
