Generally, do others find people on answers more mature and caring than elsewhere on the net?

I have been on other forums and facebook and myspace and generally people there seem more closed minded, immature and less caring. There are so many hate games and immature comments and offending other people going on. I come on here and people are so welcoming and caring, or most people are. Does anyone else find this? Could it do with the age and level of intelligence and life experience. Considering most people on facebook are in their early teens and 20s and not as mature as people on here.
