How do I obtain followers on my new blog?

I have created a new blog but I do not have any followers yet. It has only been a week but I have a couple of good posts. What can I do? I submitted it to Yahoo, Techni..Something. Also have my twitter. I have found a couple of blogs to post on as a guest. What else can I do?

With blogs it all comes down to how popular your subject is and the word play that you use for the title or tags.

Sometimes it takes a lot of time for the search engines to pick up on your blog, especially if it's not a very popular subject.

You won't be getting followers overnight. It can take a few weeks before your site actually starts to get traffic. In the mean time, focus on writing articles every other day. You need lots of content before people start to follow your blog.
