How can I help my friend?

She was sexually abused by her step father then pushed out of her house because her mum and brother didn't believe her. Now her boyfriend has cancer. I dont know how to be there for her. We only speak on facebook now because we're both so busy and Idk what to do.

Try to be there for her, let her know you care, and remind her how much she means to you and her loved ones. Remind her that the good in life is too wonderful to leave behind cause she can get through what she is facing.

Call her and go visit her sometimes, even when you're busy. Take out some time for her to show her that you care and that you're willing to sacrifice some time for her and that you really empathize with all that she's going through right now. You would want her to do the same thing if any of those things happened to you too, wouldn't you? Ask her how she is and how you can help, if you can do anything to make things better. You can bring her gifts or anything to show that you're thinking of her. Honestly, just be there whenever she needs you and lend her your shoulder to cry on. Hug her and try to make her feel better. That's all you can do right now.
