how do you make your messenger active constantly?
on your yahoo messanger or chat in your email, i notice that some people show as idle but is there a way to appear to be there even when your not? how about without the idle showing up also?

Yes there is.
Open yahoo messenger Messenger(menu) Preferences >> Privacy Now go thru these settings- You can Check the box that will allow you to show ONLINE PRESENCE on websites Next: Idle status If Boxes are checked-clear Show me as "idle" Check the box that says DO NOT show anyone how long I have been "idle" **This combination will have you appear always there and accomplish what you want. Click- OK You can also change your status Message to -a Status Message of your own and make sure that you do not check the box that will show the Red-circle OR there is another program that Yahoo is supporting called Twitter to make this fun... It will come in the new Yahoo Mobile messenger http://mobile.yahoo.com/oneconnect http://www.twitter.com There is a plug-in for Yahoo Messenger in the Yahoo Gallery and a firefox plug-in Also-Do not select any of the Pre-Made status messages or it will look like you are not available. If you want to leave a message- Create your own, but do not check the box- that says -show busy icon |
