How do i add and become mutual friends on facebook?

at the moment i dont have an option for mutual friends, so i cant add anyone neither am i mutual friends on other friends profiles, especially those i would consider Close friends!! how do i become or add mutual friends?

Let me explain to your what a mutual friend on facebook means.
Let's assume there are 2 people, A and B. You are Friends with both B and A. Now, A wants to add B, so A will see that you are a mutual friend between him/her and B.

So simply, on facebook, a mutual friend is a common friend which two people have.

it would say their name and at the right it would have 3 options, press add friend
