Should I get an Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3?

Hey, my brother and I are thinking about getting either the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation... But in your opinion which is better and why? Pros and cons? Thank you so much in advance!

U should get the playstation 3 because there are games both u and ur brother would like. Xbox not so much. Like he can get his war games but you can get something like little big planet ( which u both would like its awesome)

Ps3 slim
Because it has more features like wifi. Unlike the xbox 360 it has no wifi adapter so you would need to buy one separately sometimes the controller disconnects often. And you need to pay xbox for you to play online around $50-60

Either since kinect launched laughed each of the consoles has a wide variation of games so it's not all fps's now

I have an X-box 360 and a Playstation 3 and i personally am a huge fan of X-box 360's the sole reason is that X-box 360 has great games that are the top rated that you can't get for the playsTATION 3.

* x-BOX: more durable last longer
*x-box: Halo 3 and many videos on online and
*x-box: Cheaper and has Kinect the new upgraded Wii for xbox
*x-box: must pay for online but is guarded from hackers and trash talkers PS3 is free but you have the chance to get hacked and cussed out.

~PS3: Very horrible and endurable controller

Way more games then ps3, like Dead Rising 1 and 2, Halo 1, 2, 3, reach and odst. Mass Efect, Saints Row and more.

ps 3 slim is better. Because its have more graphics and more free online games.

PS3 Slim Pros:

Ps3 Slim Cons:
- Lacks backward support for PS2 games;
- no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren't compatible;
- online gaming, media, and commerce options still aren't as fully developed as Xbox Live, though they're getting better.

well, since the failure rate for the xbox 360 was recently rated at somewhere around 80 something percent, i would say the smartest investment would be the ps3. also, ive had my ps3 for about a year now, while my cousin stays true to the 360. the ps3 still proves a better choice as far as game variety and quality are concerned. plus, it plays blue-ray and dvd. in my opinion, the ps3 would be your best choice.
