How do I still be a good sister living outside the STATES?
I am currently living in Brazil, I´m 24, and would like to build a relationship with my 12 and 18 year old brothers who live in the STATES with my parents. Any thoughts or advice on how to be present in their lives but living still living miles away??? Thank you!

you can im them, you can call them. tell them how life is going for you and ask them how they're doing. tell them you miss them. make them feel like ur there with them. and visit them whenever you can. id feel special if my older siblings did this for me

I have two older brothers in the military and while they are away they always kept in touch via EMAIL, SKYPE, LETTERS, and CARE PACKAGES.

I also send packages to them full of pictures of our daily lives and special events so they don't feel like they totally missed out. I always put pictures in scrapbooks so they have something more than just the photos, next to the photos I always put little notes about what was going on... Things they miss from home, snacks, magazines, etc.

You could always send them interesting new things you come across, take LOADS of pictures of your adventure.

Writing letters take a longer time but are very meaningful to get when you are away at home, I try to write them once a week. Sometimes in emails, you can really discover a person when conversations are constant =)

Mostly I am always keeping in touch with my brothers via SKYPE/FACEBOOK/YAHOO, it's quick, has cams to view each other.
