Ashton is getting crap for support Joe. I think that the school should not have fired him just days before the last game of the season. He alerted his bosses to the problem, and with one game left this was the boards cowardly way of making it seem like they were being proactive about something that they failed to take action on before. He was the scapegoat.

Taking this action was not going to help the kids who were molested, many of whom are now adults (and scared for life sadly), or do anything to make the perpetrator's punishment harsher. So, the board divided the school and the public and nothing good is really going to come out of their action.

Ashton thought Joe got a raw deal, and I for one agree. Only because it does nothing to heal anybody. Go Orange Men!
