How do I tell my dad I have a boyfriend?
I'm almost 15 and my boyfriend is almost 16 and my dad always jokes around with what he's going to do when I bring home my first boyfriend (this isn't my first boyfriend btw) and I really want to tell him but I just don't know how to. Help me please!

You don't have to tell him directly, he could 'accidently' find out. Like if your dad is your friend on facebook you could put your status as in a releationship. Or you could say "I'm going out" and then your dad might ask "who with?" And you could be like "my boyfriend". My point is you don't have to tell him directly like " dad, i have a boyfriend". Although what I'm going to do is tell my dad I'm bringing someone over for dinner and then introduce them. I hope i helped somehow.

i've had lots of boyfriends and the way i've told my parents is by telling them casually, instead of sitting them down and making it seem like a bigger deal than it is. a lot of times i'll mention it my parent while I'm in the car with them, so it doesn't have as much of a lead up to the topic. telling your parents more casually will make them more open to the idea. also, don't tell your dad while you have a friend over! it will just make it seem like you were avoiding the topic, instead of being open about it.

Be honest with him, and tell. He'll appreciate you being honest rather than living a betrayal lie for your whole life.
