Do all these personalized computer systems mean less privacy?
I've been thinking, and things like Pandora Radio and the new Facebook (that lists your close friends, family, etc. and you can choose who you want to "subscribe" to) that are so personalized really "know" a lot about us. Like what kind of music I like, where I go to school, work, who my friends and family are, and they target me with advertisements based on what I like. If things are already like this now, how personalized will the future be? Imagine cars, phones, computers...everything will be exactly how you want it. It's kind of creepy...

thats the nature of AI (artificial intelligence) .... see a few years ago when the Internet just started it was only people with real technological knowledge that were in control....but now you get money hungry marketing and advertising, finance professionals who also know how to use the technology...which means they would use all the dirty sales tricks they would do to sell you a car, house, new fridge freezer etc but do it online...so unfortunately to not get caught in the trap, you gotta not go into the woods....personally i now dont use facebook or any social media and if i do have to fill out forms to use software etc ill use fake details...but i agree its a bit creepy the methods they use
