I still get facebook notifications on my Blackberry even when I've unticked the option to not get them?

I'm really fed up. I'm constantly getting facebook notifications on my phone even when I've unticked not to get them. Anybody know what to do please?

Untick the option and then restart the phone and it should work

Did you click "Save" after unticking it? And also, make sure you are unticking "Facebook Notifications. Some people click on "Turn off Email Notifications" and they think that will solve the problem.

Untick it again, make sure you click "save" then turn your phone off and then turn it on again.
