What to say to a long lost brother you found on facebook?

Today, I found my long lost half-brother on facebook. I know it's him, I just don't exactly know how to tell him that I'm his half-sister (that he never knew he had). I was planning on messaging him but I don't know what to say? Help!

just message him and tell him,
hey, I don't want to sound like a creep, and don't think I'm crazy,
but we're related, and I'd really like to get to know you

or something along those lines..
is he older? if he's young you might not want to bring this on him just yet

That will bring curiosity and he will ask you the why are you interested about it

Then, that is your chance to tell him the "why"
