Why am I getting emails from Facebook about people responding to threads?

I am getting random emails from Facebook that people have responded to a thread. Some of them are in my Facebook friends but most of them are not. I checked in settings but can't find anything to turn this notification off.

It's happening because someone send you a message. The person send a message to 3 or 4 people so whenever they reply to the message it will goes to all those person who are connected to the message. You can stop this by deleting that message on facebook.
