If you have no other family members, or known friends of his, you are going to want to hire a private detective, but I would try all other avenues as that would be a breach of his privacy in my opinion.

There are a lot of people searches online to try out, but have you tried just typing his name into google?

Good luck. If it is meant to be, it will be, but if it is not don't take it to heart. Something things are better left alone, but I wish you the very best of luck

You say have no email address, but you obviously have access to the internet if you're using Yahoo Answers! You can create a free email account with almost any major email brand (AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Google). Create one for yourself; that will give you a source for communication. Even if you don't have a computer at home...you can check your email whenever you get a chance: at a friend's house, at work, at school, etc.

In regards to finding him, the first step would be to try contacting the last phone number and address that you remember him having! He may still be there.

Then, talk to your family members. Anybody on his side of the family: your grandparents, aunts, uncles, even cousins. There's a chance that one of them know where he is. Even your mom might know!

If none of them know where he is, try going to yellowpages.com and searching his name in the city where he used to live. Even if there happens to be a lot of people listed with his name, try calling all of them. And don't feel bad about interrupting people; as long as it's during reasonable hours (i.e. after 9am and before 8pm), you have no reason to feel bad.

You can also try searching for him on websites like Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook. It sounds a little strange to think about older adults using those sites, but there are actually quite a few adults using them to keep in touch with family and friends.

If you still haven't found him, you can try hiring a private detective. Keep track of any information that you may have received when contacting your family, because the more you know, the easier it will be for the private eye to find him. They can be pretty expensive, but if you really want to find him, it is worth it.

If you haven't found him after all of this, the only thing you can do is make yourself easy for him to find! Make yourself a page on myspace, facebook, and twitter. Keep in touch with his side of the family and keep them updated on how to contact you (email address, home address, even your mom's phone number and address). If he ever decides to look for you, it will make it easier for him to find you.

Like the answerers, I say just google his name. I'd be curious to see what pops up. Check to see if he has a facebook or something and friend request him if his page isn't public. Then you can talk via facebook. Also, if you can ask another family member for contact that'd be great.!!!!!!!!!!
