Can you make your list of friends on facebook private?
My mother enjoys adding/interrogating all of my friends on Facebook and it's really annoying. Especially when neither I nor them have done anything. Can I block her from seeing my friend's page?

You can't make your friends list private, unfortunately. You can block your mother from seeing certain details of your page, such as your photos, but your friends list is the one thing that will always remain public. Sorry!

It goes against the whole Facebook's reason of existence, that is making the world more open and connected.

Since the privacy changes in December 2009, Facebook users cannot hide their "list of friends" from people in it. Users that had their list hidden were automatically forced to reveal it without their consent.

You can, however, hide your friends from strangers by clicking at the pen on the top right corner of the section with the small pictures of your friends which is on your profile. Once you clicked on it, you should uncheck the option that says "Show Friend List to everyone". However, actually they won't be totally hidden, because in December 2009 Zuckerberg (the Facebook CEO) decided that all the lists of friends are public information and therefore application developers (anyone can be one of them) can still have access to your list of friends.
