can someone help me with twitter?

i am so lost using this. how do i get ppl to read what i have wrote. can u explain how all this works step by step. i would like to ask a question or give what i think but hello i cant and don't get it.

Twitter is a micro blogging website, to share your views with the rest of the world!
Let us start with the words 'following' and 'followers': the people who are your 'followers' get to see the posts made by you; similarly, you see the posts of the people whom you are 'following'

To reply to any message, you click on the reply button and type in your reply!
If you find the posts of some user nice or cool, you can retweet it(share it with your followers) by retweet option!
There are some trending topics on twitter, for example, lets say 'osama' is a very hot topic is discussion right now, so you have different 'searches' for these types of trnding topics, if you want to post you message there, all you need to do is put a hashtag(#) in front of the 'search' name, for example; thank god, osama's dead #osama
You can even add these 'searches' to your page, so you can stay updated with messages from users throughout the globe!
