What is up with #show name in the corner?
Ok during tv shows, for example fringe. in the corner of the screen it will say #fringe. i have also seen this on doctor who (#doctorwho) and true blood (#trueblood) what is this? i assume its a smart phone thing or something?

These are called 'Hash Tags' and are used by tv shows to show viewers how to keep conversation regarding said program 'linked' on the community site Twitter. Adding a 'Hashtag', a # followed by the topic of interest, allows twitter to link any post with that hashtag under the same topic page.
