How does Facebook decide people you may know?
So there's this girl that keeps popping up on my newsfeed under people I may know. We have 74 mutual friends which is a good amount but there are plenty others with 100-200. She pops up constantly and I'm wondering if its possible she's viewed my profile? I wanna know cuz shes quite attractive haha, and I have friends who are close to her.

its based on mutual friends as well on how often you interact with the same people..

it goes by mutual friends and how often you interact with the mutual friends that you share with her.

well, they go through your mutual friends and find their friends and see if you might know them.. also they might go through your email contacts.

The friends you contact, and they contact them and so forth, and they figure you may know them, I even met an old friend from elemenatary school, I wondered what ever happened to her and she is in Las Vegas.

Facebook decided people you may know according to both your and your friend's mutual friends and the relationships between them.
