How can I get a fake profile removed off of facebook?
My 15yr old daughter's ex boyfriend keeps making fake pages of my daughter on facebook and myspace. On these pages it says very explicted things about my daughter. Myspace has a parentcare hotline which allows me to call and report the pages and they remove it within 24hrs. Facebook on other hand does nothing. Help please...

Google why you should delete your facebook and Click on the first top 10 list that comes up. One of the reasons it gives for deleting your profile is that deactivating it does nothing. It will say click here to permantly delete your profile. Once you click that you log onto your account and then it asks you if you seriously want to delete your profile. Press the summit button.

Oh I just realized you said a fake account. I'm guessing you don't know the password Well once you fin it out do as I suggested.

If you go onto the profile and scroll down to the bottom of the page, at the left hand side there is an option to report/block this person, so obviously choose report.

I've never tried it so I don't know how long it should take I'm afraid, but Facebook are notoriously bad at customer service like that, it practically impossible to make serious complaints.

If I were you I would probably report his page as well, if you explain he's making the fake pages they may be able to block his IP address from making new ones?

Good luck, I hope it works out.

What her ex-boyfriend is doing is illegal now, because, a lot of teens have committed suicide for things of the sort, therefor you can call the police and report it. No matter how young, the boy is.
