Is is possible to stop certain people seeing your comments on Facebook?
My mum and sister just added me on facebook, and allthough I dont want to delete them, some of the comments I post and convorsations I have with my mates I wouldnt like them to see!

Is there a way of stopping just them from seeing my status updates? I dont mind thm seeing photos ect.

Thanks! Smile

Hey there,
I have used facebook everyday for a year now and the only thing would be for you to delete comments that people write on your photos. Also in your Privacy settings (hover over "settings" and click privacy) You can disable people from viewing your photos/wall but there is no way you can not let somebody write a comment on your photo... sorry!Smile

Yes you go to privacy options and click on the part that says keep your comments/wall/etc private. Then there is another option for "except" and you click the names of your FB friends who you want to allow to see it all.

But honestly it sounds like you are flirting with trouble. If your mom or sis adds someone else who is also on your friends list, they might be able to see it from them. Remember that what you do/write online is never totally private. I would limit your conversations to private message and email unless you don't mind your family seeing them.
