Facebook, the first messages I wrote to my girlfriend, how do I find them?
I had been chatting with my girlfriend on FB for over 6 months, we have 30000 messages, or more..
I want to see the first messages we ever wrote to each other, is it possible to download all of our chat logs to a txt file?

Thanks!
Oh, I can't scroll up until I find it, it's over 30000 messages, my computer is i5 quad core, still my browser crashes.

scroll to the very top of your messages, it might take a long time but it will work, and you can highlight all of the messages and Copy and paste them into word that might workWink

1. Click the message's icon at top of page of Facebook (You should know which one)

2. When that pops up you will see most recent replied to message's or whatever but at bottom it says "See all messages" click that

3. It should bring up all messages ever (through different pages which you can change the page at bottom of screen)

I sometimes read old messages myself....Heck I still have messages back from 2008

No you cant download chat logs... But you can see it... Go to messages and find your gf recent message... Scroll up to see all your history... In your case you have to scroll really long... Enjoy...

It cannot be downloaded but you can do 2 things just find the oldest message in the conversation (this is time a lot of time) then:

either do a old fashion copy paste, left click and drag the cursor til the end of the chat, click copy and paste it into a text file.
or you can save the page, when you have gone to the oldest message you see, then somewhere on the page do a right click, and select "Save page as"
