weather or not your a wanted felon
your Spy-ed on is this the kind of country we want ? are we in russia ?

WASHINGTON — Maxi Sopo was having so much fun "living in paradise" in Mexico that he posted about it on Face book so all his friends could follow his adventures. Others were watching, too: A federal prosecutor in Seattle, where Sopo was wanted on bank fraud charges.

Tracking Sopo through his public "friends" list, the prosecutor found his address and had Mexican authorities arrest him. Instead of sipping pina coladas, Sopo is awaiting extradition to the U.S.

Sopo learned the hard way: The Feds are on Face book. And MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter, too.
The Q is "What You Think Right or Wrong ?"

to the first answer - your the idiot - and your a coward hiding behind a Blocked email.
Yes I have Known. and now I know your a P.O.S. Coward

I don't put anything on FB, Myspace or twitter that the FBI would even be remotely interested in.

I'm too boring and too ordinary.

You said this guy Sopo was wanted, so YES, they should be searching these social sites. No one is ever wanted w/o knowing. I dont mind Feds on these sites. You know how many molestors, child abusers they track down? A WHOLE LOT. It makes me feel safer. i wouldnt worry, unless your on their doing shit you aint supposed to.

I don't see anything wrong with it, only because, according to the privacy policies, of those sites, anything one chooses to post is essentially "public". Even the "private" profiles have some basic information on them that is publicly available. My view- If one doesn't want "just anybody" including the government poking around in one's business, then one should stay off those sites.

As for whether it's spying or not. I don't believe the term spying applies to social networks. Everybody on them is "choosing" to put their information out there. While they may not have thought that anyone other than the people they know and "friend" would see any of it... They also agreed to the sites policies, and common sense should tell anyone that on the internet, not everybody is what/whom they seem to be.

As for Sopo. He was arrogant enough and foolish enough to play the classic game of "Look at me". Now he's the sorry loser in his own game.
